About me

I am Dominique Mecoy and I’m honoured to be considered as your celebrant.

I have a particular skill in getting to know you and your partner and from that point, crafting a ceremony which is unique and special to both of you.

My focus is to create a personlised ceremony for you - I won't be just churning out a 'standard' ceremony with your names inserted.

Having enjoyed a diverse career including the Australian Institute of Sport, The National Science and Technology Centre and Perth Zoo, I decided to become a celebrant as it’s a wonderful way to contribute to a special day.

 I can speak French, some German and can easily turn my hand to other foreign language phrases, with excellent pronunciation. This adds a very personal element to your ceremony, bringing in your family culture into your day. 

I have presented at national and international conferences and my presentation skills are strong so I can deliver a range of ceremony styles – from humourous to passionate to serious to emotional – or all of the above.
